The Birth Of A Little Miss | Minneapolis Birth Photographer

I got a quick text at 10:30pm, they were on the way to the hospital. So I packed my bags, kissed my baby (and my husband) and got in the car. When I arrived she was getting checked into her room. The contractions continued to come and in no time they were close. This momma did so good, she made it look easy, and went through her contractions with no pain medication. In no time her water was broken and one push later this little lovie graced us with her presence. Tears were falling and the joy from mom and dad filled the room along with the first cries of their little girl. The next moments are my favorite, mom taking in every detail, dad looking down with such pride and joy at his wife and baby, and baby taking it all in... this new place that is so bright but finally to be held in her momma's arms after nine months of closeness.
This was my first birth since my own experience and it was wonderful. It was completely new and different then before. I knew what mom was feeling, I knew that joy, the peace and the pure contentment that floods you when that baby is laid on your chest. How you want to take in every moment and not forget a detail of that little baby and of the love of your life supporting you. It still takes my breath away and still brings me to tears. I love birth, I love babies, I love real... I love love!
