Our E is two months old! She is becoming so much more aware of our presence, smiling and watching as we talk to her and move around her. She eats good, sleeps better, and cry's so little. She loves tummy time when she is awake and her tummy is full, and loves to follow her bunny and monkey as we move them in front of her. Our dog, Hunter, is starting to pay more attention to her and even gave her a "kiss" last week, but I think it was because she had some yummy oil on her cheek (to help with her baby zits). She let me take some sleeping pictures of her this past week, it took me about 5 minutes and then I let her sleep. The secret was a heating pad right under the blanket.
Everyday I find it amazing that this little one is mine. I have waited and prayed so long for this little life and two months in it still feels so surreal. I am so thankful for every moment I get to be with her and everyday I am learning new things about myself, her and our dynamic as a family of three. I find myself staring at her while she sleeps in awe that she is part me and part B. She is so lovely in every way and the sight of her will always melt my heart. She is my little human and we are hers.
