Here is how we spent our Valentines day... These kids are apart of one of the Redemption Ministry children's homes in India. We sat with them as they told us their names, ages, favorite subjects and, of course, favorite curry. Then we got to give them chocolates (candy), toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo and soap along with some heart balloons we found at a shop the other day.They would not blow theirs up at first so we grabbed some and began to blow and tie. Then the fun began. We all volleyed them back and forth, many floated away and one got stuck in a tree! It was a day of lots of laughs and smiles, even through the language barrier. The best of days, and my favorite days, are those spent with the children. It was a good Valentines day.
