We are officially back from our winter vacation. Many of you know that my husband works seasonally, and well so do I (for the most part). Photography tends to slow down as the holidays come and as the snow starts to fall. So we decided to sneak away for a week.
We had a nice vacation package that started in Ft. Lauderdale, hopped on a cruise to Grand Bahamas and ended in Orlando. The island was beautiful and basically deserted which was a huge change from the last cruise we went on, and such a blessing. The water was clear and the sand white!
If you know me I am a fan (big fan) of the Harry Potter books. As a teenager I read them all, went to the midnight premiers with my best friends, and went to the midnight book releases (maybe even dressed up). Everything on our trip was lovely BUT I can't help but say my favorite part was going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It was so surreal to see what you had pictured in your head (while reading), & what you had seen in the movies come to life right in front of you. The rainy day couldn't keep my spirits down (you can ask my husband), who is the greatest for putting up with my nonsense.
All pictures were taken with our new little Nikon 1, which if I do say so myself did a fantastic job!
