Since we were away from the house for the first week of December and we
(I) refuse to purchase a fake Christmas trees, we just finished
decorating yesterday with a little tree. While, I might add,
listening to Sleeping At Last Christmas music and burning my new
candle! So I decided to take pictures, of course, of the decor that is
around our little old townhouse. Our Christmas decor is natural,
simplistic, hand crafted looking. Our manger scene was my grandmothers,
and looks just like the one we had/have in my parents house growing up.
It is my favorite part of our Christmas decor. I also love anything and
everything Scandinavian, especially around Christmas. So the dining area
table has our little painted horse (from my dad who got it from his
Aunt from Sweden) and then little Swedish candle sticks. Plus, my charlie brown christmas tree, an angle planter with awful fake sparkly leaves (also from my grandma and I love it but Ben laughs whenever he sees it), another little (fake, oh my) tree on the counter, stars strung on the fireplace, and a candy dish full of candy cane chocolate! Hunter, our
pup, was watching curiously as if to say you guys are nutso for doing all of this!
