When I first graduated technical
college with my degree in photography imaging I started working at a
local family owned studio. I learned so much from those couple of
months. It was such a blessing in disguise as I look back at the time
spent there. I decided to take leave from the job in the hopes that a
nanny job for my husbands cousin would give me more time to concentrate
on my new business. So I did, I started watching a teeny tiny 2 month
old, who slept a lot. It gave me time to edit, brainstorm and plan my
year ahead. Throughout the next few years there was less sleeping and as
time went by I also fell fully in love with this little boy.
So that leads me to this post, of a four year old boy. Although I haven't been nanny-ing him for the past year he still has my heart, he calls me "Tissa" and we love spending special days together now and again. He is so excited for our baby, and we get to talk and dream of what she will be like together. As we spent last Thursday together he asked, with a concerned face, "Is this baby only yours and Ben's?" I strive for honesty so I said yes, but I explained that we were more then happy to share her and she could be his too. He thought about this and found the answer to be satisfying.
He melts me.
