Adam & Ann Marie | Wausau WI Wedding Photographer

Perfect location, beautiful day, and wonderful couple! Perfect combination. We jumped in the car and headed over to Wausau to shoot this wedding which took place in the "middle" of downtown. The ceremony was outside in front of the fountain and the reception was across the cobblestone street at the Grand Theater. From playbill's with their "cast of characters" (wedding party), to the tickets which led the guests to their tables, to popcorn and a photo booth with handmade props this couple thought of it all and it came together perfectly! Here is their sneak peak (if you only see one picture be sure to click Click Here to see full blog post below the image).

Participating In A Wedding | St. Paul Wedding Photographer

Participating in a wedding is a complete 180ยบ from shooting one. I had the honor and joy to be apart of my beautiful cousins wedding this August and had my camera along to take shots of us getting ready and the rest time in between. I wanted to share some of the shots because I think the day was just perfect. I want to brag about how beautiful she is and about how wonderful the ladies at Salon Ori treated us. So here is my sneak peak of our getting ready time and waiting for the ceremony to start. The last pictures are her sneaking a peak at the guests as they enter the church. The wonderful Jenny Bedard Photography, an awesome photographer and friend shot the rest of the day for her and she did AMAZING. Here is her sneak peak from the day: Jenny Bedard Photography Blog

The W Family | St. Paul Family Photographer

This is the W family. How did we meet? I posted an add on Craiglists last year at this time looking for a little girl newborn model and Farrah offered up Ava! (Here is the sneak peak from last years session). It was a joy and and honor to be able to capture her then and to meet dad and Liam this time around and have the opportunity to capture all four of them. My job becomes so simple when a family is so adoring. Here is their sneak peak (be sure to  click SEE FULL POST if you only see one set of pictures!):

Nate & Emily | Hudson Wisconsin Barn Wedding Photographer

When I think barn wedding this is exactly what I dream of. Minutes before the ceremony the barn cat is walking down the aisle and then back up it. While they said their vows the rooster crowed. Settlement Hill Farm in Hudson is just beautiful and I think it is safe to say one of my top favorite venues I have shot at. Everything was in one place with the ceremony taking place between apple trees and in front of the barn, then food and social hour below and the dance above in a twinkle lit barn. Not to mention this perfect couple, who are SO in love. Everything he does makes her smile and she lights up his face. It was an honor to be there, to capture it and to share these with their family and friends!

I Have Found The One Whom My Soul Loves | My Life

I met my husband about 9 years ago. We started dating at 15, then were "just friends" and got back together December 18th almost five years ago! Today we celebrate 3 years of being married.
As I am typing it, three years, it just doesn't feel real. It seems as if I met him yesterday, I can remember every detail. His curly blond hair and big blue eyes. He was the handsomest 15 year old at Lake Geneva Bible Camp. What a stud. Driving home on the bus I thought of nothing else and on the car ride home from the church my mom just knew something was off. I told her I met a new friend and he happened to be a boy. She saw through me and knew that it was more. Dating, which wasn't really allowed up to this point. But when the boy lives 3 hours up north and across the seas for 6 months out of the year (India) you can't really complain. It was God's protection in their eyes but in mine it was torment. But now looking back I see how much we learned when talking on the phone for 1-2 hours 4-5 times a week. Distance makes the heart grow fonder, my anthem.
Nine years later I wake up next to this same man, to his funny sense of humor and his romantic simplicity. God listened to everyone of my prayers as a little girl and is still answering them everyday in our lives. We realize that no one is perfect, it is in those imperfections that God unites us and helps us grow. Three years ago we went from being two people "in love" to adding a third and asking God to help us become one, to grow in His love and have the strength to do whatever He asks of us. Everyday I learn something new about this selfless concept of true love and marriage. But every night it is worth it.
Happy Anniversary to the man of my prayers and dreams.
Below is a recap of our day. Our pictures were taken by the amazing Liz Siebenaler & Kathy King!

B is Two | Twin Cities Children Photographer

These boys make me smile. I met this wonderful family years ago when I helped out at a home daycare (for 5+ years). Here is our first session I got to shoot of them, then B was born so we did newborn, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year. It is an honor to still be taking their pictures! B is two, so we had to take his portraits. We snuck in his older brother and some with mom and dad too!

Emily & Andrew | Twin Cities Wedding Photographer

It is such a joy to capture and be apart of beautiful couples day. Emily and Andrew are so in love and the people that surrounded them are just as in love with the both of them! The simplicity and ease of the day was refreshing. They created the perfect atmosphere to celebrate the first hours of their married life with their closest friends and family. It was such an honor to be there.
