This past January was our second time starting our year in India for a month. It is an amazing experience to live those 32 days completely out of the daily routine. One of the many things that I decided I wanted to do this year was shoot more for fun, for myself. I started this business with a passion and a desire to always be bettering myself. I want to do a series of portraits. Black and whites (for the most part) of those that are closest to me. I want them to be insanely sharp with the highest amount of details. I want to see scars, wrinkles, age spots, everything! The second part of the "portraits" will be a hand shot. I think someone's hands tells so much about them. My dad was/is always working with his hands around the house for as long as I can remember. His hands show every inch of that. SO here is the start: it is a self portrait. However, because it is a self portrait, I didn't want it be straight on. I can't wait to begin this and share my progress as I go!
