Village Feeding | India 2012

This is beyond a reasonably doubt my passion. When I say that I am referring to being with the kids. In order get a pair of shoes they have to sign up in advance with their shoe size. So those that were going to recieve shoes had a name tag with their name and shoe size on it. Then they were called up two at a time to get a pair put on. It was too funny to see some of these kids who have most likely never worn a pair of shoes try to walk back to their spot with them on. So foreign to them so they would waddle back. They were all very excited. Ben got up and just said a little hello from us, he told them "these shoes are not from us, they are from people around the world who want to give them to you, they are a blessing from the Lord."
After the shoes were all handed out they went out the the front of the church yard and were fed. The very bottom set of pictures is them eating and being served. Most plates there was two or three little ones who were eating out of, the older children eating there own. We ate the same thing and it was really good.
